DIY Peel & Stick Laundry Room Floor

Saturday, October 18, 2014

When we moved into our home a little over a year ago, there were certain things that weren't up to par for me. The linoleum floor in our kitchen laundry room and bathroom was one of the major things!

With a house you want to do everything right now but that of course just isn't possible so you have to do them as you can or as things get too bad! In this case it was getting too bad!

Our dog Bo (90 lb boxer) decided he would attack the floor and left us with this...

Therefore this became our priority on our home improvement todo list!

Being a new homeowner at the time only been in the house 4 months...we didn't have a large budget for anything. So after going back and forth trying to decide what to do. Travis just went to Lowes and prices our options. While he was there he came across the peel and stick tiles. He thought it would be great for that space and it was a simple solution.

I loved the idea especially after he said he found 2 boxes on clearance!

A friend of his, a few exacto knives, and a couple hours we had a brand new floor!

It's been a year now and the floor still looks amazing. I highly recommend this for anything. We will be doing our bathroom floor soon with the same thing.

Given it was a smal room but still only cost about $20 that made a huge impact on the house.
