This past weekend I hosted a bridal shower for my best friend Stephanie! We had a blast and it turned out so great! I wanted to share it with you because of course I had several DIY items, and did it on budget as always :)
Here is the Guest of Honor with her count down sign.
The couple will be getting married on the beach in October, so we went with beachy rustic theme for the shower.
What is a shower or party without a game? As soon as guests walked in they were prompted to play one!
This was a game I found on Pinterest and it was perfect! The Bride and guests really enjoyed hearing all the funny memories.
The Bride only had one requirement for this party....a Mimosa bar!
The Monogamous Mimosas were a hit! Stephanie gave every item a wedding themed name.
We had some tables set up outside for everyone to enjoy the nice cool day we had.
Everyone seemed to really like the DIY centerpieces. Such an easy way to add a little something to a boring table. Plus you can't go wrong with mason jars :)
The party wouldn't have been such a great success without the help of the Bride's stepmom Julie! She is an AMAZING cook, baker, etc.! Julie prepared all of the food and made the cake.
Look how cute this cake was!
Here is the food table...bad blogger moment, I forgot to take a picture of the table before everyone dug in :(
All the guests went home with this adorable DIY goody bag of chocolates made by Julie!
All in all it was a great day with friends and family! I love hosting and throwing parties, it is something I wish I had more time for :)
Thanks for stopping by!
