Hi y'all! Just wanted to give you guys a short post to let you know what's been going on with us.
Last week we attended a craft show and balloon glow for Joe Huber's Farm and Winery in Indiana. We had blast trying to sell our stuff, they just did not have a big crowd...like...at all! The advertising for the event was not as good as it should have been and this was their second annual show so you would think they would have advertised the crap out of it.
We had a cute little set up with our booth and have already been discussing several way to change, improve and make it better. We are planning to do another show in late September that should have a HUGE crowd because it's a wine festival that about 15 wineries attend each year. I will keep you guys posted on that.
Here's what our booth looked like this weekend...
ALSO...I have decided to start selling some custom pieces at Nitro Antique Mall, a local shop here in WV.
I have just started filling the booth and have several large pieces of furniture I need to get painted and take them over there. I am so incredibly excited about this adventure and I really hope it pays off.
Here is my space after spending about an hour there today.
I am going to hang canvas drop cloth on the left and right to make the walls looks "full" and hide the stuff from the booths on either side of mine. I also need to something at the top of the back wall just not sure what I will be doing yet. It will be really cute once it's all done and I simply cannot wait.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that both the Craft Shows and my Booth at the antique mall will pay off for Britt and I. This is what we LOVE to do and we dream of the day when we will be able to quit of real life jobs to do this, what we love, every day. It's the next part of our journey and we are both really excited to see where it leads!
Thanks for following along y'all! We appreciate you dearly.
